P&G Pavilion Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games

The P&G Family Home was the centrepiece of P&G’s presence at the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games as an IOC TOP sponsor. The concept integrated mass timber construction (Glulam and CLT) with membrane and modular architecture.

With only 7 months between initial concept and the handover in time for the opening of the Games, this project involved intensely challenging timescales. To deliver in such circumstances required a highly integrated design & construction team and fully embracing DfMA and MMC techniques.

Alchemy led the international design & build project team undertaking project direction, management and construction management leadership.
